Miami Skyline
The Miami skyline is one of the largest in the United States. It is also one of the most picturesque because of its choice position on the Atlantic coast of southeastern Florida. Miami has one of the largest urbanized areas in the US, along with Chicago, and restaurants, a shopping mall, and even an amusement park. It would be located on Watson Island, which also happens to be an excellent location to get brilliant Miami skyline photos.
The tallest building in the Miami skyline is the Four Seasons Hotel and Tower. It is a 70-story skyscraper that reaches 789 feet. It is the tallest building in the state of Florida and ranks in the top 200 buildings in the world with respect to height. The second-tallest building on the list is the 764-foot Wachovia Financial Center. Some of the other most notable skyscrapers in Miami include the Marquis Miami, 900 Biscayne Bay, the Wells Fargo Center, and Mint at Riverfront.
There are a good number of places to take awesome photos of the city and skyline, and generally, just appreciate the beauty of this vibrant coastal area. One thing you may consider is taking a cruise through the Port of Miami, where you will see the Miami skyline, Miami Beach, South Pointe, and more. A cruise through Biscayne Bay at sunset will also afford wonderful opportunities for Miami skyline photos, as well as gorgeous photos of the sunset and the glowing city in the distance.
Another great way to enjoy the vast expanse of the skyline as well as Miami Beach, South Beach, and all of the breathtaking surrounding areas is on a tethered balloon ride in Bayfront Park. The balloon rises as much as 500 feet. The Miami City Club is located on the 55th floor of the Wachovia Tower, another place from which you can enjoy excellent views of the city. There are also a wide variety of restaurants, bars, hotels, and clubs that have great views.
